Gum Disease

Gum disease is an infection of the tissue surrounding and supporting the teeth. It is a silent, chronic and painless infection that goes untreated or ignored until it has caused severe destruction. Other important factors affecting the health of your gums includes smoking, diabetes, stress, grinding teeth, medications, poor nutrition, etc. Gum diseases are not always painful they usually give initial signs of Gum Bleeding while brushing.  In later advanced stages you may experience Spontaneous Bleeding along with Bad Breadth, Sensitivity, Swollen Gums, Mobile Tooth etc. The only culprits for these are bacteria along with tarter and stain deposits on and around your teeth and gums.

TREATMENT

Teeth cleaning: Do you want to keep your smile beautiful, clean and healthy? Brush your teeth twice a day, floss your teeth well and get your teeth cleaned professionally by the dentist every 6 months. Regular cleaning / scaling remove tartar that not only destroys the luster of your teeth but also affects the surrounding dental tissues

Surgical: We offer conventional as well as laser gum disease treatment which is able to remove diseased, infected tissue around the teeth and help reduce bacteria. Laser gum therapy minimizes discomfort, controls bleeding and offers faster healing time than conventional surgical procedures. We also offer procedures such as flap surgery, tissue grafting and bone grafting to resolve more serious cases of gum diseases.
